Consumer products entering the market must be safe for consumers, and also in compliance with applicable regulations within various jurisdictions. Intertek Cantox has 5 toxicologists certified by the American Board of Toxicologists, and 4 toxicologists certified by EUROTOX. These staff members perform toxicological risk assessments (TRA) on a wide range of consumer products, including toys (for children and pets), cosmetics and household cleaning products, as well as evaluate products for compliance with regulations pertaining to the labelling of hazardous art materials. We have access to multiple scientific databases, and use this information to verify the safety of your products for the general public, particularly for children. We take a proactive approach to monitoring the regulatory status of chemicals within specified jurisdictions, and an active role in researching the potential health risks of these chemicals.
